Happy 4th of July! We celebrated our nation's independence by experiencing one of the USA's crown jewels: the interstate! Yep, we made the trek down to North Carolina one last time before my maternity leave is over, and it was a doozy. Riley was a trooper the first trip, but this time she protested the entire way. Luckily our friends Dora and Boots were around once again to keep Gabe entertained. Quote of the week: ("Tinkle" is what his grandparents call pee-pee, so I guessed he had just learned that) Gabe: Mommy, I have to go trinkle in the potty. Me: What is "trinkle"?
