The whole pinked out crew (minus Char! Where did she go?)
On Friday my friend Sheryl and her daughter Meredith hosted (hostess-ed?) a baby shower for me and the still-yet-to-be-named newest member of our family. It was a wonderful event with my friends from work -- really over the top, complete with a yummy drinks, a wonderful meal (Sheryl's husband Dave is quite the chef), delicious desserts, elaborate favors, and lots and lots and lots of PINK! Everyone is getting a big kick out of me suddenly being thrown into a world of dolls and princesses and hair accessories, so the shower was my "orientation"! We all had a super time, and thanks again to Sheryl, Meredith, Dave and Christine (makes of cupcakes and favors, and mommy to twin infants!) and to Beth from traveling all the way from the Windy City for the festivities!
